The Conqueror responds after the conquering, Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi on tomorrow’s RAW

How to build Oba Femi vs Brock Lesnar

It’s been the biggest talking point in the wrestling world: The Ruler has put down The Beast. Under the brightest of lights on Monday Night’s RAW, Oba Femi decimated Brock Lesnar, as The Conqueror displayed a rare look of fear against the upstart.

Brock Lesnar is advertised to return and answer for the attack on tomorrow’s episode of RAW. Assuming that Paul Heyman does the talking for Brock and argues with Femi about the match, here’s a few lines/angles I wrote down for fun and I’d like to see done in the promo war. The hope is that WWE presents Femi as a credible enough threat to face Brock despite his relative short time with the company, and to build heel heat for Lesnar.

Paul: “You had 3 weeks—3 whole WEEKS—since the offer was extended to challenge Brock Lesnar, yet you were busy spending your precious time beating up Kit Wilson and 5-year has-been Johnny Gargano? You, you you you call yourself the RULER? But it took you all this time to muster up some courage… just to catch my client when he was distracted by that weasel Seth Rollins. Someone else could have taken that WrestleMania open challenge in those 3 weeks, and you would have remained in catering remembering your glory days in NXT. You call yourself the Bringer of War, but it took you 3…whole…weeks.”

Oba: “Yes, I was on Smackdown. Yes, I was fighting men who are not your client. And yes, I CONQUERED them like I conquered Rusev in this ring on Monday Night RAW! Building a little experience never did anyone harm, and as for someone else accepting the challenge? I would have RUN THROUGH them, and made sure it was the last thing they ever accepted. Because this was always MY battle. The Beast was MEANT to be fed to The Ruler. You keep bringing up 3 weeks. Good, hold onto that number closely, Paul Heyman. Because 3 seconds with HIS shoulders on the mat is all it will take, for you to understand I am the mountain you cannot climb and the man you cannot conquer.”

Paul: “You? You will feed on my client? Your biggest accomplishment in this ring was merely facing Cody Rhodes, whom my client has DECIMATED. You haven’t done anything in this business to step up to the plate. What the hell makes you think you could step to the man who conquered mixed martial arts? Who battered and BROKE the Undertaker’s streak? Please, enlighten us.”

Oba: “Was this man not champion 120 days within his debut? Was he not? If memory serves me correctly, he was. And note that. Because I am better than this man in every way. At WrestleMania 42, it will have been 77 days after my debut at the Royal Rumble. In 77 days within my debut, I will crush and conquer The Beast that had to SNEAK me over the top rope. I’m not asking you to believe in me. I don’t care what you think about experience. I’m INFORMING you, to get out of the way when the Bringer of War comes to collect.”

Monday Night RAW streams tomorrow on Netflix amid the electrifying Brock-Oba rivalry.
