Avengers: Doomsday’s latest teaser features a meeting between The Wakandans and The Fantastic Four’s Ben Grimm, aka The Thing. The Thing’s shot features considerable negative space to his left and the camera’s right. Amid some viewers arguing that positioning features a blur, rumors and theories have sparked about a digitally removed figure next to Thing. The most popular candidate is the movie’s villain, Victor Von Doom.

“I’ve lost everyone that matters to me”, exclaims the still grieving Shuri after the events of Wakanda Forever. Initially, this was true. The tragedy that struck in the sequel to 2018’s revolutionary movie had M’Baku telling Shuri, “The world has taken away too much for you to still be considered a child.”

The two schools of thought will almost always defy each other, it is duality personified. Hence why seeing them reconcile and greet each other like old friends in the new teaser is a bit shocking, and heartwarming.

Cause truth be told, I still never get fatigued with any entry starring Steve Rogers. First Avenger, The Winter Soldier, Civil War, Endgame. I can watch those movies all day. And despite the overall reluctance I have, the teaser showed me that although my mind might be weary, my heart is more than open to one last Steve Rogers led movie.
